Compared to the familiar incubation method, SuSAn’s new – digital – Legionella test reduces the individual work steps and dramatically shortens the total time to result. The submission for certification to the German Environment Agency (UBA) is in preparation.
The SuSAn system detects over 90% of all Legionella contaminations, especially Legionella pneumophila (SG 1) with a detection limit of 100 Legionella/ml. Also detected are Legionella pneumophila (SG 2-15) and Legionella Non pneumophila, such as:
– Legionella londiniensis
– Legionella taurinensis
– Legionella dumoffi
– Legionella gormanii
– Legionella anisa
